CONDITION :

I am assuming this is a poster produced for US DRIVE-IN theatres as it is printed on slightly thicker stock than usual, it is untrimmed and still has the guide markings near the corners where the poster should be cut, the edges are not particularly straight and the left edge has not been cut straight at all (probably just a rough cut before the final edge cuts were supposed to have been made), 5 cm tear around the center of the left edge, a couple of tiny tears and mild creasing also on the left edge, 3 cm tear near the bottom center where the print layer has come away (there is a small spot of surface print loss at the bottom of the tear and tape on the back of the tear), mild creasing on the right edge, tape adhesive staining along the top and bottom edges and there are a few patches at the top of the left border, line of tape adhesive staining through the “been cheated” text at the top with another line of staining just below the “out of his” text, plus a small patch of tape adhesive staining just below the “he had” text, patchy line of tape adhesive staining from the film company logo at the bottom center across to the right (below the title), large band of tiny spots of damp completely across the poster through the title section, a few tiny damp spots of damp along the top border, whole poster has yellowed slightly with darker yellowing around the center fold line, stress marks along the fold line, small patch of black print in the right border (just above center), a couple of tiny brown liquid stains on the top right corner, vertical line of tape adhesive staining from the rim of Peppard’s hat down through his right eye and cheek, Otherwise Good. Personally I would be tempted to cut the poster down to the correct size using the guide marks.
