CONDITION :

Looks as though there was a large liquid spill on the back of the poster mostly from the center out over the left side (click the larger image of the back of the poster to get a better idea) whilst there are obvious brown stains around the borders due to the stain on the back the main image appears unscathed except for a small brownish area in around the top right of the wolves nose,

Two 2cm edge tears and approx. seven tiny edge tears on the left edge, mild edge wear including a couple of tiny spots of paper loss on the left edge, Brown liquid staining in the left border (mainly the bottom half),

5cm edge tear with a little edge wear on the bottom of the left vertical fold line, 1cm edge tear on the bottom edge, 4cm edge tear with a little edge wear on the bottom of the right vertical fold line, tiny edge tear on the bottom edge (right), brown liquid staining on the bottom border mostly to the corners and center,

Creases across right corners, very mild edge wear on the right edge, light staining in the right border around the center and corners,

2cm edge tear with a little edge wear at the top of the left and right vertical fold lines, 3cm edge tear on the top edge just right of center, 1cm edge tear and a couple of extremely tiny edge tears on the top edge (left), light brown staining of the top border above and down through “Holmes’ Most” text,

Pinhole near each corner,

Moderate / heavy creasing from the bottom center fold intersection (Jaw area) diagonally down and out to the bottom of edge to the bottom of the left and right vertical fold lines creating a few light stress marks, and the same at the top from the top center fold intersection (top of head) out to the top of the left and right fold lines.

Diagonal creases from the top and bottom fold intersections on the left and right vertical fold lines out to the side edges,

Fold wear including wear holes at five of the fold intersections (largest is 2cm cross area at the left center fold intersection), approx. 20 small tears on some of the fold lines (mostly the left vertical fold and the center horizontal fold) some have caused a little paper loss,

Title written on the back in blue biro

I have tried to list every flaw I can see but I can not guarantee I have not overlooked anything, This poster would look great professionally framed especially if the framing covered the outer border, But I think it would really benefit from linen backing.
