CONDITION :

This is an original open letter from the BUDC (British UFO documentation Centre), in support of Steven Spielberg’s representation of UFOs in the movie close encounters of the third kind.

The letter has been hand folded in four (not particularly straight), small crease across the top left corner, tiny Brown stain spot at the center of the bottom edge, light creasing on the left edge (a little dark print has transferred onto some of the creasing), some light surface creasing throughout and additional creasing around the fold lines, otherwise good.

For example since 2021 any goods sent to the EU from the UK (and manufactured in the UK) are liable for a 20% VAT charge imposed by the EU.
You will have to pay this upon delivery (and possibly a handling charge from the delivery agent), Currently I am unable to collect this in advance due to the costs and paperwork involved for a sole trader.

** please note duty is calculated on the country of manufacture not where it is shipped from, so whilst most of my posters were originally manufactured in the UK, some one sheet posters for example were printed in the U.S.A. so those will be calculated on U.S.A. rates.

Unfortunately due to the removing the de minimis exemption rule from the 29th August 2025, which allowed U.S.A. customers to import goods valued below $800 tax free, I will be suspending sales to the U.S.A. from Friday 15th August 2025, until it has been made clearer on the best way to collect payment and file taxes as a sole trader for this development.

I apologise for the inconvenience and have valued your custom over the past 15 years, I will update when a solution has hopefully been found.
