CONDITION :

4cm edge tear on the top edge just right of center, three 2cm edge tears and a couple of tiny edge tears also on the top edge plus a couple of tiny pieces worn away from the top edge, 10cm tear on the left edge along the top fold line, two 1cm edge tears also on the left edge, three 2cm edge tears and five tiny edge tears along the bottom edge, 3m edge tear on the right edge center (along the end of the fold line with a little print loss at the inner end), 2cm edge tear on the right edge on the bottom fold line, three tiny edge tears also on the right edge, small brown stain on the tip of the right edge near bottom.

Brown staining throughout the top border (probably damp spots), very faint yellowish spots throughout the left / right and bottom borders (probably spots of damp or possibly light print transference from the red background), Two small black print line near the bottom left corner in the border and just above.

6 pinholes in the right border, 8 pinholes in the left border, 2 pinholes in the red background near the left border (bottom half), 2 pinholes on / around the diver on the left and 3 pinholes around the diver on the right, 2 pinholes around the fold line below the “Y” in the title, 6 pinholes around the “SC” in “SCREEN”.

Additional vertical fold lines either side of center, two additional horizontal fold lines near the top.

Fold wear – 25cm tear along the center horizontal fold line (between the center of the eye up to the “CO” in “Coming” this is easily repairable with the proper tape), 5cm tear along the center of the bottom horizontal fold line with a small wear hole at the center of it, small tear at the center of the top horizontal fold line, stress marks on and around all fold lines including the additional ones.

20x8cm patch of small liquid stains on the back of the bottom center of the poster (Not noticeable on the front), small green spot of residue on the back of the poster which is slightly visible on the front within the “N” in the title, small cluster of brown spots of damp on the back of the poster which are visible on the front within the “N”,”T”, “V” in the title, patches of light spots of damp ont eh back of the poster (Not noticeable on the front). Blue Distributors Stamp “Fantastic Voyage Teaser” on the back of the poster (only noticeable on the front if the poster is held up to the light / backlit).

Surface is lightly wrinkled and also has a few creases throughout.

Poster has previously been rolled so is a little curled.

In my opinion it would not take too much restoration to make this look very good especially if you were going to have it linen backed and framed. (there has previously been a linen backed version on eBay for $1195 / £790. So it could be a worthwhile investment!).
