CONDITION :

3 inch (7 cm) band of approximately 7 light horizontal creases completely across the top of the poster and a similar band across the bottom (some dark print has transferred onto a few of the creases), 4 cm deep x 30 cm long patch of light Brown liquid splashes across the top center of the poster.

12 cm diagonal crease and a small crease across the top right corner, 2 cm tear at the top of the left vertical fold line, 1 cm tear and a smaller tear along with mild creasing on the top edge, 28 cm crease across the center of the top edge, 15 cm crease across the top of the left vertical fold line, tiny piece torn from the left edge (edge of bottom horizontal fold line), a couple of extremely tiny pieces torn from around the bottom left corner, extremely mild edge wear also on the left edge, slight discolouration to the top segment of the left edge, 2 cm tear and a couple of tiny tears on the bottom edge, 2 cm tear and a couple of tiny tears on the right edge, heavy creasing and numerous Brown spots of damp around the bottom half of the right edge, a few Brown spots of damp around the right edge of the top horizontal fold line.

12 cm jagged tear through the front of the fire engine which develops into a reverse “V” shaped tear through the front right mudguard (there is a small amount of paper loss in this area), tiny pinhole near the top right corner, four pinholes in the top of the engine cover and one in Robert Morley’s hand, 2 cm “V” shaped tear near the bottom edge (below “Maggie” credit), two pinholes near the bottom left corner, large pinhole near the bottom right corner, five pinholes near the bottom of the right edge, two pinholes in the side of fire engine, two pinholes just left of the woman.

Whole poster was browned slightly, duplicate fold line where it has been folded out of alignment, extremely mild fold wear, a number has been written on the back in Biro (only noticeable on the front if the poster is held up to the light / backlit), a couple of light surface scuffs near the top right corner and one near the top of the left vertical fold line, Otherwise Good, in my opinion it would look very good if framed and even better if professionally linen backed.
